The name, as explained by the group's founder Charly Zoo, refers to the urban movement and all that wealth of rhythms, expressions, cultures, languages and melodies that fuse just like in a zoo.
Songs like "Lalala Hot Girls" and their new single “A Night To Remember” are popular among the young at heart, regardless of age. These are hits created and interpreted by the Da'Zoo duo. A band from Miami, a sound that keeps conquering the international public.
It all started in 2009 by the Hand of record label Sony Music ; Originality and catchy sound where uncommon in the musical industry and therefore Da’Zoo quickly became one of the most quoted and beloved bands.
Their songs have been part of the lists of the hottest songs in the United States and Latin America.
The energetic duo has a very own style and musical approach. Although it is a young duo, thanks to their talents and positive messages, they were Winners in MTV Awards in the category of “Best New Artist 2009”,they have continuously been in the “Top 20 Billboard Charts” and received several major nominations, including “Best Duo 2013” and were nominated for “Premios Lo Nuestro Awards in 2013” for “Best Group or Duo of the Year” and in 2014 for “Best Pop Artist of the Year”. Performing in popular TV shows and Big Music Festivals in the United States.

El nombre, como nos lo explica el fundador del grupo Charly Zoo, hace referencia a lo urbano y toda esa riqueza de ritmos, expresiones, culturas, idiomas y melodías que se fusionan, así como en un zoológico.
Canciones como “Sin Ti”, “Lalala Hot Girls” y “La Fiesta” y “Excuse Me” son populares entre los jóvenes de corazón, sin importar la edad. Son temas creados e interpretados por el dúo Da’Zoo, que nació en Puerto Rico, y que con su música están conquistando al público internacional.
El 2009 fue el año en que nació y se lanzó la banda de la mano de la casa disquera Sony Music Latin; su originalidad y sonido pegajoso era poco común en el pentagrama musical y por esta razón se volvió rápidamente una de las bandas mas cotizadas y queridas.
Sus temas han sido parte de las listas de los más escuchados en Estados Unidos y Latinoamérica.
El energético dúo posee un estilo y enfoque musical muy propios, que se enmarcan dentro de la corriente del pop urbano.
